Old Ironscute

There is one snapper on the west strand the size of a rowboat, $C, with a back so thick with barnacles that the gulls nest on it. The net-menders call him Ironscute. He has eaten three pilings out from under the net-loft, and he is only getting bigger. He sulks in the reef at the north end of the snapper beds past the bluffs. Bring him down, and the stilts of the Cove can stand easy for a while.
