Patch 0.50.7The Sailmaker's Last Stitch
q_novalia_dogear_the_sailmakers_last_stitchThe Sailmaker's Last Stitch
Group quest · Level 61
An old custom of the sea, $N: when a hand dies aboard, the sailmaker sews them into their hammock and puts the last stitch through the nose, to be sure. The Chalk Widow had a sailmaker. He walks the north beaches still, with his palm and his needle, and the hands he catches alive he sews up, last stitch and all, and rolls into the surf for the Armada to collect. Take two friends. Find the Sailmaker of the Chalk Widow among the longboats and unpick him.

Completion
Done, then. I will not ask what he looked like up close. We found two hammocks in the dunes where he walked, sewn shut, and both hands in them still breathing. That is your work, and they will drink to it tonight.
