Join the two halves and read where the chart points, $N. Then take a shovel, Merryn sells them, and dig. Here is what I wanted to tell you: on Marrowpalm a chest is never alone. Whoever buried it signed articles swearing to guard his share, and this key holds a man to his articles, dead or not. Break that ground and he comes up out of it, a Hoard-Warden, his share in one hand and his cutlass in the other. Put him down and the chest is yours, all but one thing. Under the coin lies Slake's share-ledger, the crew's own book of who was owed what. Obadiah has waited a hundred tides to see it. Bring it to him.
