Lines Across!

Here is how it is done. Sail out of the Dog-Ear harbor in a ship that carries guns and come round the south of the shoals into the raiders' water. They will turn on you the moment they see your sail. Do not stand off and trade broadsides with them all day. Pick one and close on her through her fire until your grapples can reach her. You may batter her silent first if you like, since a crippled ship can neither run nor shoot back, but you do not have to: the grapple takes her, not the guns. Throw your grapples and shout it so they hear you: "Lines across!" Over the rail you go. Kill three Raider Cutthroats on her deck and come back and tell me how it felt.
