Lights on the Bar

Every captain who runs rum out of this landing knows the bar to the north, $N. At high water you sail over it; at low water it sails over you. The Redknives know it too. They hang a lamp out on the sand where no lamp should be, and a ship that steers for it finds the bar with her keel. They refuse the articles and they call it salvage. I call it murder with a lantern. Walk up the north road and cut down ten of the Redknife Wreckers on the bar before the next tide brings them a ship.
