Snappers Under the Stilts

Half this town stands on pilings, $C, and the reef snappers have found out that tarred timber tastes better than coral. They crawl up out of the shallows at low water and gnaw at the stilts until a house leans. There are beds of them on the west beach past the bluffs and on the far shore of the bay under the headland. Kill ten before somebody's kitchen ends up in the cove.
