Now the trail, $N. Mine is the First Antler: the oldest beast in the world, a stag that walked this land before anyone thought to name it. I have followed it for forty years and never once seen it, only its sign. North and east of here, the old road it walked crosses the Redwatch Steppe, and something is wrong with the beasts along it. Sister Caldra Zenith watches the steppe sky from her camp east of Redwatch Beacon, and she writes that the sunscale basilisks have started walking into the signal mirrors. Go to her.
