Rennick calls it the honoured kill: you end what suffers, and then you end what made it suffer. The Fourth Watcher stands beneath the Starless Beacon and keeps the false light burning, and it will blind the next herd as it blinded this one. Put it out, $N. Bring two friends; it does not fall easily. Then carry it home to Rennick at the Hall of Orders. He would want to hear it from you.

Completion
A clean end for the beasts that suffered, and the light that blinded them put out. That is the whole of the honoured kill, $N. Then I can teach you the shot I have loosed for forty years: Clean Kill. Save it for the end of a hunt, when the beast is nearly gone, and end it in one breath.
