The First Antler
cq_hunter_5_3The First Antler
Group quest · Level 60
Only the Yesterday Colossi still drag the oldest layer over the trail, and the First Antler under it. Shatter 3 of them, $N, and take others with you; they are whole hillsides that learned to walk. Then go home to your teacher. Whatever the First Antler leaves behind when it walks free, it will leave for a Pathwarden.

Completion
It walked free. Forty years I followed it and never saw it, and it is free because of you. Sera's raven reached me ahead of you, carrying this: a tine of the First Antler, shed at the edge of the oldest layer as it went. That is the one trophy a Pathwarden may keep, $N, the kind a beast gives up of its own accord. Wear it. The Long Trail is yours now, and one day you will hand it on.
