The Toll in Her Hand
cq_mage_1_3The Toll in Her Hand
Group quest · Level 10
There is one more thing the page did, and it is the worst of it. The Tollkeeper Without a Face found the scrap the wisps did not eat and pinned it into its master manifest, and now it charges a toll in names that nobody can pay. Defeat it at Gravesluice Lock and take the page back, $N, and do not go alone: it has drowned better parties than one. Then carry the page home to Ashveil at the Hall of Orders. It is his book.

Completion
One page home. It is singed where she tore it, and her thumb is printed in the ink. Tamsin always held a page too hard when she was frightened. Take this wand, $N. It was the first I ever gave her, and she left it on her workbench the night she ran. I would rather it went out into the world with someone who means to bring her back.
