The Keeper Who Never Came Home

I have one more thing to show you, $N, and I am too old to walk there with you. The oldest record of the Lantern names a keeper who took a flame from it four generations ago and carried it north, certain that light should burn away every place the dark could hide. He never came home. In Ashfen Hollow, far to the north, the folk speak of a Torchbearer on the hill above them, and of a thing they burned and cannot remember. Find Survivor Calla at Stillsmoke. She is the oldest memory there. Ask her what the Torchbearer carried.
