Wisp Written

Something in the northern pans has learned to walk, $N, a wisp of salt and old light shaped like nothing so much as a paragraph on its feet. When you put one down it leaves crust behind that is still faintly written on, fresher than anything I have found elsewhere on the flats. Bring me six pieces, and mind you read them before the wind does.
