Three days before the fleet arrived, a cutter put the first survey party ashore at the Scribe's Anchorage, on the north-east bluffs over Pelican Sound. Surveyor Danielle led them inland with chains and slates. None of them came back. Last night the sentries saw a blue light on those bluffs. Go and find out what it is, $N. If it is Danielle, I need to know what she read before she died.
