The Captains' Moot

Quest · Nivå 63

Three marks, from Molasses Landing, from Hook-and-Eye and from Bellbuoy Rest, and Greer Saltbell says the Moot is called. Then it is. Listen: that is Hollin on the galleon's deck, ringing the captains in. Every captain on the Keys will be aboard the Free Margin by the time you reach her. Go and stand before Grisel Mardoon, $N, and ask her for the Common Article.

Completion

Captains, this hand carries three marks and a witnessed name, and asks to sign the Common Article. Any against? None. Then sign, $N, here, under the last hand and over nobody's. Freehand you are, and free you stay. Now hear what you have signed against. Grand Admiral Honora Vey of the Redline Admiralty means to rule this whole sea into a fair copy of the old one, every coast drawn straight and every soul entered in her ledger. Under the water, Admiral Ezra Blackletter of the Drowned Armada means to scrape every name off the page and sail the scraped forever. One would write us down. The other would cross us out. The Moot answers to neither. Welcome aboard.
