The Rite of the Hour
cq_mage_4_3The Rite of the Hour
Group quest · Level 40
Registrar Nhal has the page. He waits at Tomorrow Gate writing the city into his drowned census, and with the Page of Hours he can write tomorrow down before it happens. That is your rite, $N: take the hour back from someone who has decided it belongs to him. Bring two companions, because Nhal does not die on time. Then take the page home to your magister.

Completion
The Page of Hours, and on its back, in dateglass ink, the answer Tamsin read: what the last chapter costs. I knew it already, $N. I wrote it. Sit with me a moment, and then I will teach you the Rite: Stilled Hour. Lay it on a foe and its hour grows heavy, its feet and its blows both slowed. Every magister learns it. Not every magister learns why.
