The Last Chapter
cq_mage_5_1The Last Chapter
Quest · Level 60
I owe you the truth before you go, $N. When I was Tamsin's age I wrote the last chapter of the Riven Codex: a working that buys a mage more power than anyone should hold, paid for with the caster's own name. I paid it. Ashveil is the name I chose afterwards, because I could not remember the one I had. Tamsin read that on the Page of Hours and went north to finish the chapter, or to burn it. She has reached Dawnmarch, where the country is still being written. Proofreader Iven at Morrowgate reads every new page. Find out which she chose.

Completion
Ashveil? I know that name. His apprentice wrote it in my reading book, $N, under her own, and then she crossed her own out. She came through Morrowgate with half a book and asked me where the Revision keeps its pens. I told her. I wish I had not.
