The Storm-King Who Signed
cq_warlock_3_3The Storm-King Who Signed
Group quest · Level 30
Tempest-King Volgrath sits the Storm Throne with your teacher's page under his hand. He signed for a crown of weather and has never paid a copper of it; the cape pays instead, one wreck at a time. He does not hold court alone. Gather a full party, unseat him, $N, then carry the page home to the Hall of Orders. I have read enough of it to know I do not want to keep it.

Completion
You brought it back unread. Good. That restraint will keep you alive longer than any spell I teach. A troll who signs for a crown and lets a coast pay for it is not a king; he is a debt with a face. Here is the burden of a binder, $N: you remember everything you bound, forever. Take this ledger. It is my pact, copied in my own hand, every clause. Keep it close, and never let anyone write in its margins.
