Patch 0.48.4Articles of Marque
cq_warlock_4_1Articles of Marque
Quest · Level 40
A fleet sails off the Blackwake Shoals under letters of marque, $N, and the coast itself obeys them. Its commodore draws a red line on a chart and the shore moves to meet it. That is not seamanship. That is a contract, written in an ink I know, and the drowned are crewing it. Quillhand Ione signed those articles once and broke them. Find her at Chartbreak and ask what the ink costs the ones who sign.

Completion
The Hall of Orders knows the ink? Then I will stop pretending I was only a clerk. I signed the Redline articles in it, $N, and the night I ran I left my name in the commodore's book. Every sailor who signs belongs to the chart afterward. When they drown, the current keeps them on the roster.
