Something has taken up station where the tiers narrow toward the top, $N, a custodian grown so devoted to its seal that it answers to nothing else anymore, called the Last Censor by everyone who still climbs this far. Eight bound custodians keep its approach clear. Break through them, then put the Censor down, and Chainhold keeps its highest tier.

The Censor is down, and the approach to the top tier is clear for the first time since anyone kept a record of it. Here, take these. Chainhold made them for climbing wet stone stairs in a hurry, and I would rather see them on the one who cleared our highest tier than let them gather dust behind another chained door.
