The cutback jackals keep digging up chalked vertebra, bits of the older stone with a different hand's carving still on them, and worse, they keep chewing on the good ones. Bring me six unbroken pieces, $N, and I might finally match enough of them to read one whole saddle's draft, or at least most of it.
