The beacon burns on sun-salt, $N, crystals that grow on the bluff where the sea spray dries in the sun. A handful keeps the lamp white enough to cut through the Veil. I have not dared leave the lamp to gather any. Bring me six Sun-Salt Crystals from along the cliff edge, and mind the dead on your way.
