Every ship we have comes through the Veil by one light: the beacon at Dawnwatch, on the bluff south-west of here. If that fire goes out, the next supply fleet ends on the rocks. Lightkeeper Hallowell has not sent a runner in two days. Take the south road out of town, turn west where the track climbs onto the bluff, and find out whether the light still has a keeper.
