Patch 0.48.4The Salt-Rimed Dead
q_novalia_dawn_the_salt_rimed_deadThe Salt-Rimed Dead
Quest · Level 60
The crawlers on the Dawnwatch cliffs are not ordinary skeletons, $N. The sea has grown stone over their ribs, and in the middle of each one is a hard, wet core that keeps the whole thing moving. If I can study eight of those Calcified Heart-Cores, I can learn what is turning the dead of this coast to chalk, and whether it can do the same to us.

Completion
Still damp, still warm, and still seeping brine. This is not necromancy as we know it. It is closer to a coral, and it grows. I will need more from you before long, I am afraid.
